The Entry Level Labour Skills Certification: Manufacturing is a skills development and certification program that brings unemployed persons into the manufacturing industry with thirty (30)certifications (option A) or thirty-four (34)(option B) certifications so they can begin work immediately. This is a 3-week (120 hour) program designed to place unemployed persons in manufacturing in entry level positions.
The combination of training, skills development and industry recognized certification in this program gives persons entry level positions that produces measurable outcomes, departmental results and sustained employment the workers in the industry.
Entry Level Labour Skills Development Program
Course 1- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) (40 hours)
Course 2 (Option A)- Occupational First Aid – Level 2 (40 hours)
Course 2 (Option B) First Aid and Physical and Facility Hazard Reduction(40 hours)
Course 3- Safety Certifications (40 hours)
